Four Seasons Community Association (FSCA) in Gambrills, MD Announces Annual Holiday Lights and Seasonal Display Competition
It is time once again for the Annual Holiday Lights and Seasonal Display Contest in the Four Seasons Community located in Gambrills, MD. The Four Seasons Community Association has been sponsoring a Holiday Lights and Seasons Display Competition within their community for the past 15 years. Residents throughout Anne Arundel County and the region are enamored by the displays in the Four Seasons Community each year because of the number of homes that participate and quality of the Holiday Lights and Seasonal Displays. Eligibility: The contest is open to any residence within the original Four Seasons Community Association, which consists of 1,200 homes. Please see the attached map for the area
Rules and Contest Information: Eligible households are judged based upon the following criteria for their Holiday Lights and Seasonal Display: Originality, Holiday Spirit, and Curb Appeal. The FSCA Board of Governors, the administrative body of the community association, along with select community leaders will begin choosing the first round of nominees during the week of December 6th. The community is broken into eleven different zones and only three nominations can be accepted per zone. All nominations will be submitted to Andrew Pruski, President of the Four Seasons Community Association, by Saturday, December 12, 2009.
The Board of Governors will narrow the list down to the top 10 semifinalists. Finally, in the last round of the competition, during the week of December 13th, a panel of judges that will include staff from the Four Seasons Elementary School will choose the top three winners. Photos of the top three household winners will be posted to the FSCA website and shared with the media. The top three winners will also receive prizes in the form of a check: 1st place - $75.00, 2nd place - $50.00, and 3rd place - $35.00.
